Datalumo helps websites answer the questions people ask.
Most sites already hold the answer to what their visitors want to know. It is just hard to find. Datalumo adds AI search and chat that read your pages, docs and files, answer in plain language, and link to the source.
Built by Jeffrey van Rossum
I'm a product engineer from the Netherlands and have been building for the web since 2004, mostly with Laravel and WordPress. Before Datalumo I built and sold WordPress plugins and SaaS products, and I maintain open-source projects such as TailPress.
Datalumo started with a simple observation. People now type questions into search boxes, while most site search still only matches keywords. The result is poor answers, or none at all. Datalumo reads your content and answers the question that was actually asked.
I design, build and support Datalumo myself. When you write to support, you reach the person who wrote the code.
Principles the product is built on
Answers come from your content
Every answer starts with a search of your knowledge base and links to the pages it used. In strict mode it says when it does not know, instead of guessing.
Your data stays yours
Your content and your visitors' questions are not used to train AI models. You can delete a page, a source or your whole account at any time.
Pricing you can plan for
You pay for AI answers, not for searches. When a month's answers run out, search keeps working and nothing on your site breaks.
Built and operated in the Netherlands
