Questions
→Does search use answer credits?
No. Search is included and unlimited on every paid plan. You only use answers for AI chat replies and AI search summaries.
→What is hybrid search?
Vector similarity is combined with keyword full-text, then the rankings are fused. That catches both exact terms and the same idea in different words.
→Can search show an AI answer?
Yes. Optional AI summaries sit above results when you enable them. Those count as answers. Plain result lists never do.
→What happens if I run out of answers?
Nothing breaks. Widgets keep serving plain search. AI chat and summaries return when the month resets or you upgrade.
→Do I need to replace my whole site search?
No. Drop the widget in beside what you have, or use the headless SDK to power your own UI.
