Questions

→Does the chatbot invent answers?

You choose. Strict mode only uses your content and says when it does not know. Balanced mode may fill small gaps with general knowledge. Only lines drawn from your pages get citations.

→What counts as an answer?

One AI chat reply (or one AI search summary). Plain search queries are unlimited on every paid plan.

→Do I need a developer?

Not for the usual path: add content, create a chat widget, paste the snippet. Devs can go deeper with the Widget SDK and HTTP API.

→Where does the content come from?

Your Datalumo knowledge base: site pages, docs, uploads, WordPress, Shopify, or pages pushed over the API.

→Is my data used to train models?

No. Your content and visitor questions are not used to train the models behind Datalumo.
